Account Types

Spoonfeed offers two levels of accounts for both individuals and restaurants. Basic accounts are free and allow members to build their Personal or Restaurant Profiles while getting access to media requests and some additional features. Premium accounts offer more features for an affordable monthly fee.

Free Basic Accounts

Communicate with media professionals directly and securely

With a free Basic Account:

  • You can build your Profile on Spoonfeed in private, where only other Spoonfeed members can see your content
  • You receive all incoming media requests
  • Your name and Front Burner content (Questions of the Day for individuals, What's New questions for restaurants) are viewable by media on Spoonfeed
  • Media cannot view your full Personal or Restaurant Profile, your news is not distributed through our media newsletters, and your content is not shared on Soapbox, our online magazine for diners

Affordable Premium Accounts

Premium Personal - $50/month
Premium Restaurant - $250/month

Put your name, ideas and menu in front of more media, interested diners and your social media followers

With a Premium Account:

  • Your Spoonfeed Profile can be viewed, researched and discovered by local and national media in the company of your peers
  • Member news posts are sent to media daily, with Newsfeed posts distributed as individual press releases coming from your restaurant, and A la Minute and On the Menu posts featured in Daily Dineline regional e-newsletters to media and diners
  • Your news is featured on Soapbox, our online magazine for diners
  • All your Spoonfeed content drives unique stories that we write for Soapbox — the stories we always wanted to see when we were publicists
  • Your Spoonfeed posts can be shared with your social media followers, generating instant — and interesting — content for Facebook and Twitter and extending your brand with the push of a button
  • Your publicist can collaborate or manage your Spoonfeed account and news posts to streamline their job and reach more media faster
